Banque Populaire enhances the reception system for Moroccans living abroad |
During this period and despite the context of the pandemic, Moroccans around the world continued to consolidate their ties with Morocco, support their families, and invest in their regions of origin. As such, MDM remittances have seen a very remarkable development (more than 93 billion dirhams at the end of December 2021, i.e. +36%).
In this extraordinary year that marks the great return of Moroccans from all over the world to their country, the Bank is mobilizing all its vital forces to offer them a special welcome and to make their stay as pleasant as possible. It also provides them with a new and unprecedented banking offering (Biladi Family) as well as tailored support for project leaders.
With the full opening of borders, the resumption of sea crossings from Spain, and the easing of health restrictions, Operation Marhaba is shaping up to be under the best care this year, with an expectation of nearly 3.6 million BHD and 800,000 vehicles. To welcome them in the best conditions, Banque Populaire is strengthening the reception and support system in both Morocco and the countries of residence.
An integrated and exclusive reception system
In addition to the aggressive mobilization of its networks abroad (Banque Populaire and representative offices) and support in transit in partnership with GNV, the Bank deploys a dedicated reception system for MDM owners at the Banc Populaire network level to stay close to and respond. for all their requests. As a major player in the MDM market, Banque Populaire seeks to maintain access to its services through its traditional physical networks and customer relationship centers abroad and in Morocco, and its partners, but also through digital access to a range of products and services.
On the entertainment side, this year the Bank is organizing the third edition of its Summer Tour in Baladi in cooperation with NRJ. This unmissable summer event returns with 10 new stations that offer a diverse entertainment program dedicated to multimedia geniuses and their families in different regions of Morocco. They will also be invited to attend Moroccan plays sponsored by the Bank, with the aim of providing them with high-quality entertainment while participating in the promotion of Moroccan culture.
This system is complemented by an ongoing recreational program deployed in coastal resorts with the support of the Banque Populaire Foundation as part of the national "Clean Beaches" program.
My Family: A new show designed for the entire MDM family
The Blade Family package is focused on MDM customers and their loved ones, and allows the whole family, with a single subscription, to benefit from all the banking services they may need: bank account, payment card, remote banking, savings, and financing offers, etc. It also provides access to a host of non-banking benefits (HOUKOUKI legal information, SMSA concierge service, children's access to end-of-study training within the BCP group, etc.).
Home Loans: Competitive Offer
To optimally respond to all MDM needs, Banque Populaire is setting up a fast track to ensure a smooth customer experience and offer preferential and competitive mortgage rates.
MDM Entrepreneurs: On-Demand Funding and Support
As a distinguished life partner for microfinance institutions, Banque Populaire has launched several initiatives aimed at encouraging them to invest in Morocco.
Through the Business Creation Foundation, Banque Populaire also provides the leaders of MDM projects with a comprehensive support system. The Bank also supports many initiatives launched by associations that contribute to the economic development of Morocco and the promotion of entrepreneurship.
