Morocco denies any connection with the "Donetsk Republic"
Morocco denied reports that it had official or unofficial contacts with the “unilaterally proclaimed the Republic of Donetsk,” an entity not recognized by the kingdom or the United Nations.
“Morocco denies such information,” the Moroccan embassy in Kyiv confirms in a clarification, following information reported by the media that called for the contact between Morocco and the “unilaterally proclaimed Republic of Donetsk.”
“This entity is not recognized by our country or by the United Nations,” the embassy confirms.
Therefore, "there can be no official or unofficial contact of the Moroccan state with such an entity," according to development.
