transparency about the training offer and the sustainability of the financial resources needed for the education system in the long term,” he noted Akhannouch in response to a question about "the status of education and the reform plan" during the monthly general policy session in the House of Representatives.


The Prime Minister emphasized that there has been awareness recently of the fact that education and training reform has become, more than ever, an essential issue for strengthening cohesion, justice, and social peace.


"This is a goal that should encourage all of us to show a real desire to change management styles and create a clear and ambitious framework," he said.


He pointed out in this regard that the government has made human capital development one of the pillars of consolidating the social state, with a focus on the success of the School of Equal Opportunities by promoting interest in culture and sports as a basic entry point. That all citizens enjoy their constitutional right to education and individual and social progress.


Akhannouch explained that the government program is centered around a comprehensive approach to ensure equal opportunities in education through six main axes, namely, universal primary education for all children at the age of four.


Strengthening basic skills, especially reading, writing, mathematics, and coding; popularization of public schools, transportation, and school canteens; Advance the teaching profession and enhance skills by investing in higher education and scientific research, in addition to professional and continuing training.


He added that these basic axes will make it possible to implement the recommendations of the new development model, which aims to make a real leap forward in the education system while placing public schools at the heart of the community project on the horizon of 2035 by providing them.


With the mechanisms necessary to teach basic skills, ensure the social integration of students, and support their academic and professional success.


In this regard, Akhannouch stressed the need to overcome the multi-dimensional crisis affecting the national education system, by restoring Moroccans' confidence in schools and teachers and restoring their role in adapting to the rapid transformations the world is going through today.


He pointed out that it is about adhering to the strategic vision of reform with the aim of creating a school for equity, quality, and promotion 2015-2030, and the provisions of the framework of Law No. 51.17.
