The announcement comes on the eve of the team's departure for a ten-day tour of Japan and after the recruitment of Portuguese midfielder Vitinha.
The Parisian club indicates that the French striker is on loan, with an option to buy, until the end of the season.
The newspaper Le Parisien evokes an agreement between PSG and Reims for around thirty million euros.
The 20-year-old native of Reims joined the capital club from Stade de Reims, where he had been playing since 2013.
The striker, who is one of the great hopes of French football, reached the capital on Friday, had his medical examination, and signed his contract at "La Factory", the club's headquarters in the evening.
Hugo Ekitiké started playing football at the age of 5 at FC Cormontreuil before joining the Stade de Reims training center in 2013. The 1m89 player signed his first professional contract with his training club in the summer of 2020.
He made his first professional minutes in the Reims jersey, in October 2020, against FC Lorient.
The neo-Parisian played for six months with the Danish club Vejle BK, from January 2021, for a record of 3 goals in 11 matches.
Last season, Hugo Ekitiké returned to Stade de Reims and scored 11 goals in 27 matches in all competitions.
Selected for the France U20 team and winner of the last Maurice Revello International Tournament, the striker was also called up to the Espoirs during the last season.
