Societe Generale Morocco supported the 6th edition of "El Akademia Masterclass" which was held from July 14 to 23, 2022 in Fez,

under the honorary presidency of Her Royal Highness, Princess Lalla Meryem.
This new edition of the El Akademia project has made it possible to strengthen the musical skills and human qualities of around fifty young musicians, including around twenty soldiers from the Royal Guard, the Royal Gendarmerie, and the Royal Air Forces indicate Société General Morocco in a press release.
The Masterclasses brought together young Moroccan talents of all social statuses, selected for their will, their team spirit, and their musical qualities.
Societe Generale Morocco is associated for the second time with this event and thus reaffirms its support for inclusion through education, art, and culture in Morocco. It reiterates its role as a social actor committed to the positive transformations of the Kingdom.
On the occasion of this 6th edition, the Orchester National des Jeunes Marocains (ONJM) brilliantly interpreted Joudour wa ajniha — namely Roots and wings — composed in homage to His Majesty, King Mohammed VI —, as well as Beethoven's Ode to Joy as a symbol of hope, openness, peace, and joy, and Nidae Al Hassan to celebrate our Moroccan Sahara.
In addition, the opening of the concerts in Fez and Meknes was done on a wonderful solo of a traditional flute improvised by Oussama.
This was followed by Renaissance chamber music played by the brass, Ombra mai fu by Händel interpreted by the ONJM with Hachoumi as solo violin.
The ONJM also delighted audiences with the first movement of Divertimento in F by Mozart, Morning Moon in the Desert by Edouard Grieg, and Bolero by Ravel. The jazz piece, Toccata, was revived after being performed for the first time in Dakhla in November 2021.
"Societe Generale Morocco is proud to support these concerts bearing symbols and witnesses of the quality of young Moroccan classical musicians", concludes the press release.
