The new Honorary Consul of Morocco in Osaka has appointed Masayoshi Matsumoto, CEO of Japanese industry giant Sumitomo Electric Industries
The new Honorary Consul of Morocco in Osaka, Masayoshi Matsumoto, CEO of the Japanese industry giant, Sumitomo Electric Industries, was installed in his new position on Tuesday by the Ambassador of the Kingdom to Japan, Rachad Bouhlal.
On this occasion, Bouhlal recalled the excellent relations between Morocco and Japan, based on the close ties of friendship and mutual esteem uniting the Royal Family of Morocco and the Imperial Family of Japan.
With his remarkable experience, especially in the industrial field, Matsumoto is able to contribute significantly to the promotion of economic relations between the two countries, Bouhlal said.
For his part, Matsumoto said he was particularly honored by this appointment, expressing, at the same time, his determination to contribute, as Honorary Consul of the Kingdom in Osaka, to the promotion of friendly relations between Morocco and Japan.
