The minister also recalled the record level achieved by exports from the Moroccan textile sector, recording an increase of 33% at the end of April 2022, compared to the same period in 2021.

Al-Ansari continued, "Moroccan textiles have always been a key sector and also one of the most dynamic sectors of the national economy as it now represents more than 1,800 companies and at least 200,000 jobs, or 22% of industrial employment in Morocco."


He pointed out that in recent years marked by profound changes at the global level, the sector has emerged thanks to the recognized expertise and geographical proximity that gives it strong advantages in terms of flexibility and sustainability.
