A statement from the council itself said: "It was originally planned to hold the 19th Asian Games in Hangzhou between September 10 and 25, 2022, but due to the global Covid-19 pandemic, the Games have been postponed. by the Executive Council of the Olympic Council of Asia on May 6, 2022.”
