On Sunday, we learned from an informed source in the Confederation of African Football (CAF) that the CAF Super Cup between Wydad Casablanca and Nebat Berkane will be held in Morocco.

The same source said, that the Executive Committee of the Confederation of African Football, meeting in Rabat on the sidelines of the Women's African Cup of Nations (Morocco 2022), authorized the Royal Moroccan Football Federation (FRMF) to determine the date and place of organizing this meeting.
According to a CAF source, the CAF President's announcement during the press conference held at the end of the Executive Committee was misinterpreted, noting that Tanzania will host, next August, the CAF meeting to consider the draft of the African Premier League and not the Super Cup.
Wydad won the Champions League by defeating Al-Ahly of Egypt (2-0), while Nahdet Berkane won the African Confederation Cup final against the South African Orlando Pirates (1-1, tab 5-4).
